Well, first things first.
My name is Taylor Benson.
I’m a 22-year-old MSU grad who often looks like she should be a high school sophomore. I graduated with a degree in Media Arts and Technology, and I’m forever interested in going into television production. However, my freshman year of college, I was a Journalism major, which opened so many doors for me, and is something I would like to continue pursuing as well. I’ve been making videos and writing blog posts since November, 2009. This vlog turned blog (as I became too lazy to pump out videos everyday) was inspired by the one and only Bonnie Bucqueroux (check out Lansing Online News) who told me, while visiting my Journalism class, that we all had to make a “brand” for ourselves, and do what we love to do. Well. I love to talk, I love to write, take pictures, and I love to edit video, and be goofy, and awkward, and making people smile makes me smile, so I love to do that too. So here is Everyday By Tay. Which, ironically, is almost everyday.
Everyday by Tay has evolved so much in the 4 years that I’ve been sharing my life with you all. What’s my focus now? Navigating through my post-grad life. Good grief.

I first upload my videos to youtube, and then add them via URL. It’s a bit of a hassle, but you get used to it.
